Coopers made barrels for storing flour, dried corn, and salt pork. At the Chandler’s shop, fishermen bought rope, canvas, and tar for their ship. At Boston Harbor, traders unload barrels of molasses from ships to make rum. Farmers made corn and beans in nearby feilds and grazed cows and sheep in the center of town.
